IWR1443: Using a Single antenna for Rx and Tx

There are separate pins on the IC for Rx and Tx. In my application I am limited to using a single antenna. A typical containerized  W-Band circulator would be expensive and would also add insertion loss. Could recommend a solution to multiplex in economical way ?

    Hello Devel,

    Would you mind talking a little bit about your application? Your single external antenna idea is going to be difficult to implement at this time. I think it is very well possible if you fine tune your timing appropriately but regardless, it is going to result in a variety compromises.

    Hello again Devel,

    As I stated before, we do not yet have a solution utilizing a single antenna pin for both Tx and Rx. Considering the small size of antenna, both of the antenna can fit in the physical dimension of external antenna.

    Be on the lookout for more information on antenna design and configuration in the coming months!
