CCS/AWR1642BOOST: How to save only detections (SNR, range, Doppler and azimuth) on to my PC.

Instead of showing the results using "mmWave_Demo_Visualizer", I want to save all detections (SNR, range, Doppler and azimuth) on to my PC. How can I do this. ? or for instance can I get the detections real-time and plot them in Matlab?

As far as I know, by using the capture demo, it is only possible to get the ADC data of a very short duration(a frame) that is available in the memory?

Hello Burak,

Currently, the mmWave Demo Visualizer does not support saving the data you are visualizing. However you can get the UART stream and extract the data of interest to you from there. The mmw Demo Data Structure file found here: e2e.ti.com/.../619401 can be used to help you parse the stream.

Yes, the ADC data capture is limited by the memory. If you require a longer capture you'll need more hardware as discussed here:
