Hi Experts,

My customer is interested in Vital sign demo. They have a concern about vehicle vibration. Is there a way to remove vehicle vibration for accurate measurement?

    Hi Ken,

    It is difficult to tell how much vibration can be detected and then removed. Sensor placement is also going to be a critical question. Can you talk a little more about your application?

    Hi Akash,

    It is for driver monitoring system. More information can not be disclosed here because of customer NDA information. Where do you think a good sensor placement? Do you think they can filter out vehicle vibration if they add such kind of processing on AWR14xx?

    Ken,

    Right now it is a bit difficult to say how accurate we could make the Vital Signs demo in a moving vehicle. The sensor is being used in this demo to detect chest displacement on the order of micrometers. Undoubtedly any amount of vibration is going to play at least an influential role here.
