Dear Technical Support Team,

Could you share the method to increase dynamic range with same sensor?

It means that sensor size doesn't change and increase sensitivity.

For register setting , sensor frequency and so on.

Target application is proximity sensing.

    Hello TTD,

    A few things you can do to improve the dynamic range without changing the sensor construction:
    1) use a higher value of RCOUNT and the maximum Reference frequency
    2) Make sure that the sensor amplitude is approx 1.4Vp - isolate the parasitic capacitance of the probe by using a 1k resistor between the probe tip and the INAx pin to perform this measurement.
    3) Reduce the fixed sensor capacitor value - make sure that you do not exceed the maximum 10MHz Fsensor for the FDC.
    4) If your sensor is connected to the INAx pin, consider moving the fixed sensor cap to be between INBx and ground.
