TDC1000-TDC7200EVM: Issues connecting to TI Software

Part Number: TDC1000-TDC7200EVM

I got my EVM to work about twice, but then was prompted to update the MSP chip set software. I did this, but after following the instructions, the TDC is no longer recognized by the TI suite and able to be connected to. I can see he device on my end; it appears in device manager, but not in the TI software. I can still oddly update the MSP software, and whenever I do, I get a message from windows that the device is not recognized. What should I do, and what version of the MSP software should I use? I am planning on doing a distance measurement through a solid cube.

    Can you post the MSP firmware version that you are using?

    As a quick check to eliminate a simple problem go to your device manager, and see the devices listed under "Ports (COM & LPT)". If there is a device named TDC1000_7200_EVM note the com number next to it, and make sure that is selected in the setup tab on the GUI. If this still does not work or if there is some other name listed (that you know is the TDC EVM) right click on the device and select "uninstall". Then unplug the board, and plug it in again. It should recognize it this time.
