AWR1243BOOST: can we remove uart cable from booster while running in radar studio.

i want to run set up without uart cable after flashing in functional mode, what is need of uart cable after flashing done. can i disconnect it and run the set up without it.

    Hello,

    The FTDI on the MMWAVE-DEVPACK emulates the SPI that is used for issuing Radar API commands from RadarStudio.  Without the UART cable you will not be able to configure the device by issuing the Radar API's.

    hi Raghunandan,

    My concern was about uart of awr 1243 boost evm, if i remove that cable after firmware flashing , what else this will use for, because RADAR API will set through spi interface.

    Hello,
    RadarStudio uses AWR1243Boost EVM UART to read some of device info in background, without this UART connection RadarStudio may not functional as expected.
