HI,

I use the SPO2-FE EVM REV.A demo to watch the PPG by Prosim8P, the prosim8P setting as follow; the hardware and the firmware doesn't change, the firmware and hardware use the default setting from the TI website.

then i watch the PPG from the GUI as follow

then i use my finger to input the pulse signal, then i watch the PPG from the GUI as follow:

I want to know why don't i watch the PPG with the Prosim8P setting?

Hi George,

Can you please translate the settings of the first image in English?
It would help if you could share how are you connecting Prosim to the AFE4400EVM.

Hi George,

So what is understood is when you keep Prosim in the finger clip , you do not get the PPG signal. Whereas putting your finger gives the proper PPG signal. If this is true, that means AFE's setting is proper and the issue lies outside the AFE ( probably Prosim).
As I am not aware with the Prosim, I can't be of much help. All I can say is try changing the settings such as signal levels, frequency etc.

I moved the fineger clip to proper position getting the PPG signal
