All,

LP87524 outputs 3.3V, 1.2V, 1.8V, and 2.3V on AWR1243 EVM board. I guess it is the default setting of the LP87524 since I disconnect the I2C from the LP87524, the chip still works fine.

What should I need to do if I want to change the output to 3.3V, 1.2V, 1.3V, and 2.1V instead of the default setting values? I need to use these new voltage in my new awr1243 design.

Do I need to program it through I2C to change the voltage?

Please help me solve this issue

Hello Rjimmy,
If you need to change the output voltages of the LP87524 you would need I2C interface to update the registers. The details of the registers can be found in the LP87524 datasheet (www.ti.com/.../lp87524b-q1.pdf).

There is a plan to have a variant of the LP87524 device in the future with the defaults set to 3.3V, 1.2V, 1V and 1.8V.

With default 3.3V, 1.2V, 1V and 1.8V in the future, then this chip can power up radar directly.
