TMP75C: Temperature Rise Issue

We are having an issue with temperature measurement on the TMP75CIDR, Temperature drops and measures correctly, however temperature rise measurement is very slow, see attached.

Can you advise on why the temperature rise is so slow?

We have 2 spreadsheets that show the temperature rise and fall curves measure and the response from the sensor

Hi DesignC,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I do not see your attachment. For plastic package such as SOIC package, heat is conducted to the sensing element through its metal leads. The slow thermal reponse could be due to if you place the device in the still air environment.
