Hi team,

The customer is using AWR1243BOOST. For mmWave Demo Visualizer, I note it only has xWR16xx and xWR14xx.

Q1: If the customer uses AWR1243BOOST, is mmWave Demo Visualizer incompatible with AWR1243BOOST?

Q2: For the firmware, is "mmWave Software Development Kit (SDK) " unavailable for AWR1243BOOST?

And the customer needs to download "mmWave Device Firmware Package (DFP)"?

Q3: Can Uniflash be used for AWR1243BOOST? If this can be used, would you provide the detail steps for loading the file,

like load the xwr16xx_mmw_demo.bin file which is in "mmwave_sdk_01_01_00_02\ packages\ti\demo\xwr16xx\mmw\xwr16xx_mmw_demo.bin"

folder for using AWR1642BOOST and the hardware connection?

Does the customer need to connect MMWAVE-DEVPACK with AWR1243BOOST?

If he only use AWR1243BOOST, Uniflash cannot be used, he needs to connect an external MCU, correct?

Hello Mickey,

A1: The mmwave demo visualizer cannot be used with the AWR1243BOOST. The AWR1243BOOST can be used with the RadarStudio for the evaluation by customer.

A2:AWR1243BOOST is a closed RF-front end and it can be configured over SPI from the external host . Using RadarStudio in case of PC or any external processor like the TDA3x etc. MMWAVE-SDK is only used for AWR1443BOOST and AWR1642BOOST. The firmware for AWR1243BOOST is available in MMWAVE-DFP

A3: UNIFLASH can be used for AWR1243BOOST.

You cannot flash the " xwr16xx_mmw_demo.bin" to AWR1243BOOST.
