Hi Mickey,

The customer's question isn't clear. Could you ask what they intend to do with the radar device? Is it proximity sensing, automatic cruise control, parking assist, lane change assistance? etc

The AWR1443 is a very simple ultra short range radar for proximity sensing.

The AWR1642 is a much more generic, configurable radar for cruise control, parking assist, lane change assistance, etc.
