Hi,

I want to measure the performance of antenna on the AWR1642BOOST EVM directly. And I plan to measure the antenna with probe station of Cascade after removing the AWR1642 chip.

The figure below are the probe station and its probe section , which has three probe that one is put on the antenna feed point and the other two are put on grand. 

Is the above method feasible?

    Hello Monica,
    Are you trying to measure the antenna impedance? You will find that there are ground balls on both sides of the RF balls. If your probe dimensions match the spacing present between the signal balls (0.65mm pitch) then it should be able to do the measurement.
