TDC1000-TDC7200EVM: Start pulse is not detected

Hello,

I have got TDC1000-TDC7200EVM kit and installed GUI software and updated to 2.01 revision. After clicking on start graph in Graph section of GUI I am not able to probe start pulse on Digital Oscilloscope. I have provided below default configuration of Board.

Hello,
I got start pulse it was probe cable fault, now not able to get tank level. Currently I am using default configuration for board. It would be better if any one can provide configuration file for tank level detection.

Hi Mohammad,

The parameter settings are dependent on the sensor being used (if using the sensor included with the EVM, the default should be fine for a wide range of distances).

To start with, please make sure the sensor is properly mounted to your tank. Here is an application note describing the recommended method: www.ti.com/.../snaa266a.pdf

Next, this application note describes the basics of level sensing in tanks. It describes many of the key parameters and how to adjust them for the best performance: www.ti.com/.../snaa270.pdf

Please reference those documents, but to get started I suggest lowering the echo quality threshold, and making sure the transducer is securely mounted before trying to read the level.
