AWR1243: TX1, TX2, and TX3 output power variability vs. number of TX outputs enabled.

Part Number: AWR1243

Hello,

I'd like to know if the output power from TX1, TX2, and TX3 ports will vary depending upon the number of TX outputs that are enabled. For instance, if I measure +9 dBm from the TX1 port, should I expect that output power level to change if i were to enable TX2 and/or TX3 output?

Thank You,

Kengineer

  • Hello Kengineer,
As such there is no variation in the TX output power due to other TX getting enabled. But incase there is noticeable temperature increase due to multiple TX being enabled (that would depend on the duty cycle of operation , thermal management on the board etc.) then the typical variation seen across the temperature will also be observed here.
