AWR1642: Guide on how to connect AWR1642 and customer's own data capture card via LVDS

Hi champion,
My customer is designing their own data capture board and want to use LVDS to capture the ADC data. Besides the LVDS signals in figure 5-11 in AWR1642 data sheet, is there any other signals (like frame sync) need be connected? And when we are using TSW1400 to capture data, is there any specific software configuration to AWR1642?
It is appreciated that we have some documents to guide how to capture data via LVDS.

Hello Adam,

For the TSW1400EVM capture solution we do not use any other signal other that the LVDS signals as we try to "ARM TSW1400EVM" from the RadarStudio and then issue a frame trigger to make sure that the TSW1400EVM is setup.

In the embedded application customers can choose to setup(just like ARM TSW1400EVM) the customer capture board based on the GPIO toggle signal from the AWR1642 device . It is more of implementation dependent on how to achieve the synchronization.

You can refer to the DATA_PATH_PROGRAMMING application note on how to setup the data path for the capture card.

Thanks for the reply. Is there any GPIO can be used as frame sync signal? Customer want to loop out the frame sync signal to the FPGA on their data capture board. Is this any method to meet this requirement?
