AWR1642BOOST: I have questions for AWR1642 Evaluation Module User Guide

I want use CAN-bus to Transmit some data.

But I read the User Guide, it say I have to remove resistors (R4, R6, R28, R63) and short-circuited R11, R12.

Do I have to do this, Solder the board?

Or I misunderstood it meaning.

Hello Juiyang,
The CAN lines are multiplexed with the SPI lines in AWR1642 device.
For the CAN functionality, you will need to do the mentioned board modifications. Without these modification you will not be able to send the data our of the device over CAN lines.

What device is the SPI lines connect ?
If I complete the above action, what function AWR1642 will lose it ?

Hello JuiYang,
If you do the modifications for the CAN functionality, you will not be able to evaluate AWR1642BOOST using the RadarStudio . As the configurations to the device are sent over SPI in case of RadarStudio.
