Hello Team

My customer download PGA460 GUI from TI.com. After they set up it, but they cannot open it. When they open it, it will appear a window say that" PGA460Q1EVM GUI have stop work". Could you give some comment about it? They PC operation system is Win7, 64Bits.

    Windows 7-64bit should have no issue running the PGA460-Q1 EVM GUI.
    I have checked that this install works on a Win7-64bit PC, so there should not be an issue with the GUI installer.

    Usually this error results from an attempt to open and run the GUI from a directory location other than the installed path.
    For instance, the default install path should be:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\PGA460Q1EVM\PGA460Q1EVM-1.0.1.0"

    If the "PGA460Q1EVM-1.0.1.0.exe" is run from a different folder, then the stopped-working error will result.

    In order to run the GUI from a different directory path, these three files must always be in the same folder:
    •USB2ANY.dll
    •Microsoft.VisualBasic.PowerPacks.Vs.dll
    •PGA460Q1EVM-1.0.1.0.exe (or which ever version being run)

    Can the customer confirm that these three files are in the same directory? I typically recommend that the default install path not be modified.

    The GUI is the same installed path, in the default intall path. And  the three files is the same folder. Could you have some othe comment or solotion about it?

    Hi Xiao,

    The customer should have the .NET version 4.5 framework (or later) installed. They can download the latest .NET from Microsoft at:
    www.microsoft.com/.../net471

    I have also released a new version of the GUI (v1.0.1.1). Have the customer download and install this version of the GUI after installing the latest .NET framework.
