AWR1243: NF Measurement Radar Studio using BIST

Hello:

Is it possible to use the BIST processor with Radar Studio to get a NF measurement without external tone injection on the AWR1243BOOST ? If it is possible, can you please share the workflow on how to enable it ?

    Hi RJ,

    We support monitoring using internal loopback. You can enable the RX gain phase and RX noise figure monitoring to compute the noise figure of the device.

    The flow and API sequence will be as follows
    1. RF power up
    2. RF channel config
    3. ADC output format config
    4. Low power mode config
    5. RF init
    6. Profile config
    7. Chirp config
    8. Frame config
    9. Analog monitoring global enables
    10. RX gain and phase monitoring config
    11. Calib/mon time unit config
    12. Sensor start
