TMP116: about sharing I2C bus with TMP116

Hi dear supporting team,

if TMP116 and TMP75 use the same I2C bus, and TMP116 address pin conect to SDA/SCL, i.e..use 1001010,1001011 address, will it be affected by the SDA/SCL drifting caused by operatingTMP75? tks a lot!

Hi Vera,

I am sorry for the long delayed. TMP116 and TMP75 can share the same I2C bus as long as you assigned an unique address for each device. How many devices do you have on the bus besides TMP116 and TMP75? TMP116 and TMP75 coincidently have the same addresses 0x48, 0x49, 0x4A, and 0x4B. Please let me know what is TMP116 address pin tied to and TMP75 of A2, A1, A0 pin tied to.

Hi Vera,

I decoded the addresses. It shouldn't be a problem when you connect to SCL or SDA for TMP116.

TMP116-1 0x48
TMP116-2 0x4A
TMP116-3 0x4B
TMP75-1 0x4D
TMP75-2 0x4F
INA220 0x41
