IWR1443BOOST: help to Prepare Allegro PCB layout file .brd to PADS PCB translation?

Hi,

IWR1443boost evaluation board layout use Cadence Allegro, but we use PADS layout, the PADS can translate the Allegro .brd file to PADS PCB, but it need the people who have Allegro to do the preparation for us and send us the convert folder, the attachment is the procedures for the preparation. can someone help us on this?

    You have Allegro, can you do the translation work on the Allegro side. We can do the translation work on the PADS side?

    Hello,
    There is no translated schematic for PADS currently. We are working on releasing in 2018 an Altium version of the IWR1xxx EVM (1443, 1642)
    Currently the database is Allegro only.

    Hello Joe,

    I do not need you translate the schematic, I already did that. I do need you do the Allegro PCB layout translation preparation for me by following the instruction that I attached in this thread before, if you agree to do this, I can zip the PADS file that need for the translation, then you can follow the instruction to generate the Allegro brd file and the other contents (please see the instruction) and send to me. So I can use your new generated Allegro brd  file to translate to PADS file.

    Hello Feng,
    I have asked other hardware application engineers, we have not done this for other customers. In your Word reference, on the PAD side, which we don't have software for, you would need to send the files for PADS steps 1, 2, and some variable list for PADS step 3. We do not have PADs software on the engineering PC.

    You can send over the files, we will try, but we are not sure of the outcome.

    I am not sure how long this process will take, it may be faster for you to have a 3rd party CAD service convert this for you.

    Hello Feng,
    I have tried with my version 16.6 of Cadence PCB Editor, the translation does not work. I could read the Cadence layout file into Altium, but I don't know how to translate that to PADS either.
    There are third parties that do layout conversion, I think you would need that route.
    An example would be Tessolve.
