AWR1642BOOST: What is limiting the AWR1642 from collection less than 64 ADC samples per chirp?

Hello;

I am wondering why there is a minimum of 64 ADC samples collected per chirp. Assuming the maximum sample rate is not exceeded for the desired data format (real or imaginary), why can we not collect 32 points for example? Is there any workaround I can implement to bypass this limitation?
