AWR1642: Can mmw SDK 1.1.02 support ADC sample number less than 64

Hi,

There is below comments in the rl_sensor.h, my customer wants to know if it can support config the ADC sample number less than 64, would u pls help confirm? thanks.

Valid range: 64 to MAX_NUM_SAMPLES\n

Did you try to know why the customer want to collect less number of ADC samples than what is mentioned ?

Hi Raghu,
This depends on customer's algorithm, they don't care about the ADC sample number, they think 32 is enough. My customer have already tested with 32, and not found any problem. Need your help confirm whether it is reasonable or not.

Hello Andy,
Sample size limit 64 is mainly for HSI data transfer when you want to send ADCBuff data over LVDS.
But for DSP this sample size can reduce minimum to 16 where user need to take care of FFT algorithm based on sample size.

Thank you for the response. I seem to get configuration errors when I try to collect less than 64 samples, even when only utilizing the DSP. How can I bypass this configuration error?
