AWR1642BOOST: Why Radar Studio captured data "adc_data.bin" always be delayed？ Is it a BUG of software?

Hi,

I use AWR1642BOOST and TSW1400 to capture "adc_data.bin" with Radar Studio.

I can get the data successfully, but the problem is that the data captured last time will appear current opratetion.

In the other words, I cannot get the data captured on current round, the data always come from previous round.

    Hi,
    The method is that I test this bug by setting no target and exist target respectively. And I run my matlab code to compute range or angle. The matlab code is verified by lots of data.
    When I take away the target and do the test, and follow TI tutorial to download the data from TSW1400. Then run the matlab code to analyze the range and angle, the result shows me there has a target.
    And go on, I put a target in front of the radar, do the same steps to download and analyze data, the results shows me there has no target.
    Now, when I want to test specific data, I have to repeat the experinment three or five times to confirm the correct data.Because the first time or second time captured may be the old data.

    PS: When I do the test, I choose the clear place without interference.

    Hello Jinjun,

    Are you using the HSDC pro directly to extract the adc.bin or using the RadarStudio to get the ADC data ?

    I use RadarStudio to get ADC data, and I don't know how to use HSDC to extract adc.bin directly.
