Greetings,

I am currently designing a wearable device using the TMP007 Temperature sensor. I plan on interfacing it with a Nordic microcontroller. I have the following questions:  

  1. Need appropriate Register Configuration for I2C communication
  2. Example code if feasible
  3. .h and .cpp files if available
  4. API 
  5. Any info on interfacing the TMP007 to the Nordic Microcontroller

    Hi John,

    Thank you for reaching out to us. For your information, TMP006 and TMP007 are set EOL, which mean there will be no device available for purchase. I think we have only LabVIEW source code, but I doubt on text based programming. I need to confirm with my colleague. The apps engineer who is supporting this device is on holiday vacation. He won't be back until next year early January.

    Hi John,
    Let me clarify one topic on top of Aaron's reply.

    As mentioned by him the TMP007 device is no longer available to buy from TI since it reached EOL (end of life)
    Since now TI don't support this device, there is no point on sharing any information to interface it.

    If your application can use a contact based temp sensors you can browse our large portfolio at:
    www.ti.com/.../what-are-you-sensing.html

    If you need contact-less temp sensors, please consider other options in the market. TI don't have direct replacement for infrared based temp sensors and can not recommend other vendors.

    I will close the post for the reasons mentioned above.
