Compiler/AWR1243BOOST: Sub frame and Dynamic Chirp Config parameter

Hello,

I want to know about the sub frame and dynamic chirp configuration. These parameters are set by "mmwaveconfig.txt" in mmwave_dfp_00_09. But I can't find any document explaining about them. These parameters are appeared from new version of mmwave_dfp (00_09_01_06). Please explain the frame format defined by "mmwaveconfig.txt".

Hi

Please check the 'Interface control document' (or ICD) within the mmwave dfp package. Section (5.5.16) corresponds to the dynamic chirp config.

You can access the ICD document from ti\mmwave_dfp_00_09_01_06\docs.

Hi Anil,
In API 'AWR_DYN_CHIRP_CONF_SET_SB' and 'AWR_DYN_PERCHIRP_PHASESHIFTER_CONF_SET_SB', we can only update 16 chirp's configuration, Can we call 'AWR_DYN_CHIRP_CONF_SET_SB' and 'AWR_DYN_PERCHIRP_PHASESHIFTER_CONF_SET_SB' multiple times to update more chirps and then call 'AWR_DYN_CHIRP_ENABLE_SB' one to enable all these re-configuration?

Hi Adam,

Yes, you can issue dynamic chirp config multiple times for more than 16 chirps and then enable dynamic chirp enable to indicate to firmware that new configuration can start now.
