AFE4404EVM: I can't connect to the Eval Kit

Part Number: AFE4404EVM

Hi,

I have an AFE4404EVM. I installed everything following the data sheet and it does not work. The setup is using the AFE4404EVM with a Windows 10 laptop. Everything seems to install properly, however, when connecting the board and running the AFE GUI it is not detected. I checked the Device Manager and the USB driver seems to be properly installed and it is mapped to COM8. The GUI starts OK but at the beginnings it prompts me the following: 

An error occured while communicating with the device

Press Continue to Simulate Communication
Press Stop & Close to Exit


I can go into Simulate and everything seems to work, if I Stop and Exit the system hangs.
