Other Parts Discussed in Thread: IWR1443

Customer is using IWR1443 + TSW1400 for ADC sampling tests. When opening the RadarStudio software following error message comes up:

I cannot find a hint in existing documentation how to solve this issue.

What could be the reason?

Regards, Bernd

  • Hi Bernd,

Would you be able to post a translation of that error message in English?

I've referred your question to our TSW expert who should have an answer for you sometime next week.

    Cheers,
    Akash
  • Akash,

sorry I haven´t realized the switch to German in the error message. Here the translation of the last part

    Exception message is:
Failed to register Controller from "C:\ti\mmwave_dfp_00_09_01_06\rf_eval\radarstudio\Clients\AR1xController\AR1xController.dll"
The file or Assembly "MWArray, Version=2.15.0.1, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=e1d84a0da19db86f" or a dependance of it hasn´t been found. The System cannot find the stated file.

    Regards,
    Bernd

  • Hello Bernd,

Can you check the following? In Radar Studio open the following:

Tools > Register DLLs To Lua

Make sure it looks something like this:

If you are missing the AR1xController.dll you can add it by clicking the ellipses on the right hand side of the window and navigating to the path of the AR1xController.dll and selecting the file.

    Regards,

    Adrian

  • Adrian,

unfortunately it didn´t work. The entry for the Ar1xController.dll is available but the error message still pops up.
The entry for AgilentController.dll he had to add but even then the old error message appears.

    Is there any other hint?

    Regards, Bernd

  • Adrian,

thank you for the offline support.

Sumeer´s hint to check if they have installed matlab run time engine correctly, solved the issue finally.

    Regards, Bernd
