I have a question about the flash memory of IWR1642BOOST.

Can I replace S25FL132 with S25FL064?

I want to change the flash memory, because CYPRESS reported as follows.

This product family has been retired and is not recommended for designs. For new and current designs, S25FL064L supersede the S25FL1-K family. These are the factory-recommended migration paths. Please refer to the S25FL-L Family datasheets for specifications and ordering information.

Hello Takashi,

The S25FL064 has not yet been tested with any mmWave BoosterPack EVM's but we can confirm that the S25FL256S has been tested to work with the ROM Bootloader. You can find more information on this on pages 5 and 6 of the mmWave-DFP Release Notes.

It is the file called mmwave_dfp_release_notes.pdf in the location C:\ti\mmwave_dfp_00_07_00_04\docs .
