AWR1243: The differcene between AWR1243 and AWR1243p

Part Number: AWR1243

Hi:

As AWR1243 can only support phase shift of 0°/180°,so is the PF_TX_PHASE_SHIFTER (in AWR_PROFILE_CONF_SET_SB contents for SPI command) for each TX could only be 0 or 32?

There is some place mentioned that  AWR1243p could support 5° phase shift, does it means that  AWR1243p contains a real 6-digit phase shifter for each TX? Is this the only difference between AWR1243 and  AWR1243p?

Where can I get the official document about AWR1243p?

       Thank you !

                                                      Tom

  • Hi,

Yes AWR1243 only supports 0/180 deg phase shift. This need to be configured using Binary phase modulation APIs
    rlSetBpmCommonConfig
    rlSetBpmChirpConfig

Yes, AWR1243P supports 6bit phase shifter for each TX. AWR1243P is currently not released to market, this would be available in Future and all relevant document would be available.
