AWR1443BOOST: Cannot use high accuracy visualizer

Hello,

I tried to follow the high accuracy 14xx lab user guide to get the high accuracy data. When I used the high accuracy visualizer to see the lab demonstration, I cannot configure the serial port. In the "about" information page, it cannot recognize the connected device. Similar issues happened in the mmWave Demo Visualizer. The mmWave Demo Visualizer worked well at first. However, after I tested the capture demo (there is a step required me to  flash CCS debug firmware), the mmWave Demo Visualizer didn't work any more.

    Hi Yun,

    Can you confirm that you have reflashed the AWR1443BOOST with the High Accuracy Firmware? (Not CCS Debug Firmware).

    Hi Akash,

    I reflashed the AWR1443BOOST again and I confirm that I use the correct firmware xwr12xx_xwr14xx_radarss.bin and xwr14xx_high_accuracy_mss.bin. The high accuracy visualizer still doesn't work.

    The strange thing is that I cannot configure the serial port in my laptop, but the serial port configuration is successful in my desktop. However, the CFG_port I select is COM4. In the device manager, it shows that the user port is COM4. The high accuracy visualizer automatically change the CFG_port to COM3 after I configure the serial port to COM4(CFG) and COM5(Data). From the picture above you can see that I cannot get anything after I load config from PC and send.

    Hi Yun or Akash,

    What drivers did you update for this to work? My communications ports (UART, Data) are up to date. I have run into the same issue with the IWR1443BOOST; it cannot recognize the device in the "About" section.
