Hi,

I have been searching in your website for a Humidity Sensor with an Alarm output, but I could not get any. Actually, I am pursuing Honeywell's HIH8000 series humidity sensors that have Alarm output. However I want to check with you, whether I can get similar sensor with TI. Why such Alarm output feature is not available in your sensors? If not available at the moment, are there any plans of making such sensor in the near future. Kindly clarify.

Hi Vikas,
Please take a look at the HDC2010 device. It incorporates alerts in form of status bits available through register reads or INT (interrupt) line when a configurable level is exceeded in either temperature or humidity readings.

Hi Jose,

Thanks for your suggestion. Actually, I looked at both HDC2010 and HDC1080. I forgot to mention that I do not want the part to be with BGA package. Due to our product being very simple and low cost, I am avoiding BGA packages. Kindly suggest if you have any other non-BGA devices in the road map that I can pursue.

We don't have for now a part like the one you are asking for.
