IWR1443: TSW1400

Part Number: IWR1443

Hi Team,

I have on my table:

  • IWR1443 DevPack

  • IWR1443 Booster Pack

 

And an older TSW1400 Board with the serialnumber:TIWH050B

 

I want to collect the RAW data out of yourEVM and analyze it via Matlab.

The Radar studio is recognizing the TSW Board but they don’t get the Data to the PC:

I used your Guideline:

One way to get the data collected on TSW1400 analyzed is to open them in Matlab and interpret them using FFT.

Where could the issue be??

It looks like the TSW1400 is waiting for a trigger or something.

There is no error message or nothing popping up

    Hi Sebastian,

    You have to run HSDC Pro to collect data with the TSW1400.

    Are you using the EVM in chirp mode or continuous mode? In Chirp mode, you must configure the chirp through the Radar Studio interface. Then, you arm the TSW1400 (Click "ARM TSW1400") then you trigger the frame.  These steps are detailed in the Radar Studio users guide which can be found in the DFP.

    In continuous mode, after you have configured the board through Radar Studio, you must click Capture. This will store the data to a file.  Sometimes, Radar Studio will not have permission to write to the file, in which you will have to change the data destination or the data will not be stored.

    Hi Sebastian,

    A common mistake is to skip this step: "Copy TSW1400_IID_Lookup.csv from mmwave_dfp_<ver> \rf_eval\radarstudio\HSDCProFiles to ‘1400 details\’ folder in the HSDCPro installation"

    Refer to the TSW1400 Setup guide steps here or view the pdf.  Make sure that all steps have been followed properly.  If it still does not function after this, could you send me the Radar Studio log file?
