TDC1000-TDC7200EVM: Modify the GUI

Hi everyone,
i've recently dowloaded the TDC1000-TDC7200 EVM GUI for my project which doesn't expect a misuration of a tank level but it measures the distance between two transducers (one in front of the other, one TX and one RX).
I know that the measurement is the same but i need to know if there is a way to eliminate "the tank level" indicator and if i can modify the "tank ready" button.
In other words, can i personalize the GUI?

once you have installed the software you can find the labview project on the firmware folder

Dear colleagues, We need a simple application (not LabVIEW) for the laptop wich targetting TDC1000_7200 EVM. This application should do the following:
1. Configures the TDC1000 and TDC7200 with known constant settings (using USB or preferably UART interface);
2. Reads the time stamps of the two stop pulses repeatedly (16 Hz max) and stores them in a file.

Please, give us some advices on how can we
achieve this painlessly.

Should we use standart firmware or do we need develop a new code for MSP microcontroller? (And if so, is there any free debugging toolchain for this MSP MCU?)

Is some documetation on software interface with EVM board software exist?
