Expert 4445 points
Part Number: HDC2010

Hello Team

There is following mention in DataSheet Page1 (1 Features) of the following URL.

URL:www.ti.com/.../snas693.pdf

• Temperature Range:
– Operating: –40°C to 85°C
– Functional: –40°C to 125°C

Please tell me the meaning of
" Temperature Range: – Operating: –40°C to 85°C ".

I think that the description of –40°C to 85°C is unnecessary.
I think that the following description is correct.

• Operating Temperature Range:
 –40°C to 125°C

  • Hi Nishijima-san,

You are right. Section 6.5 Electrical Characteristics on HDC2010 Data sheets clearly states that the operating range for the temp sensor is -40C to 125C. We are updating the data sheet and will take your suggestion under consideration.

Please notice foot note (11) on same section for the humidity sensor:
Recommended humidity operating range is 20 to 80% RH (non-condensing) over 0 to 60°C. Prolonged operation beyond these ranges
may result in a shift of sensor reading, with slow recovery time.

    Regards,
    Jose
