TMP006SW-LINUX: TMP006EVM CD software

Hi all,

I am trying to look for a software with drivers and a UI that will connect to the TMP006EVM module, but was unable to find it in the TI website since the component is obselete and I do not have the CD with me. I was wondering whether anyone has this software? If so, could you please upload it?

Hi Ed,

TMP006SW-LINUX was not TI software. It was a link to the driver which is included in the linux kernel. Note that this software is not compatible with the EVM. You can see the file here: github.com/.../tmp006.c

The EVM software which was published by TI might still be available at www.ti.com/.../sboc408 for the installer and www.ti.com/.../sboc407 for the LabVIEW source code.

Thanks, that really helps. There aren't any other relevant part numbers that I could choose from apart from TMP006SW-LINUX.
