AFE5809EVM: LVDS Deserialsation

Hi,

I am trying to deserialise LVDS data outputted from AFE5809 using the sbaa205 document provided by TI(www.ti.com/.../sbaa205.pdf). The example in the document which was given is of 12bit data,

but we are planning to do it using 14bit data outputted from AFE, From page no 7 of sbaa205 document, it is given that the 12 bits are deserialsed using bit and frame clock and stored in the 12 registers shown, but

since the double data rate I/O block as shown in page no 8 eats up 2 clock signals and hence the full data isnt stored in the registers as suggested by the document and I get wrong results while using simulation. Can

anyone suggest me where am i going wrong or am I mistaken in understanding the logic of the document.

Out of curiosity, have you tried using for 12bit? Did that work?

Hi Amy, We have configured the LVDS for 14bit and haven't tried for 12bit
