Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR1642
Hi there we are a team of students who have been advised to look to the AWR1642 Boost as a viable radar. We want to be able to do radar occupancy grid mapping remotely on a robot, but we don't know where to start. We are able to get Demo Visualiser and the Sensing Estimator etc to work and install fine, but how do we program the radar to continuously transmit and receive, and send that information back by blue tooth or wifi? We've done such projects before on an Arduino but we don't even know how to export the radar data out of the board, and what do we read it with? Matlab? Python? The documentation is extremely confusing and we can't understand much. Please help us get started!
