AWR1243BOOST: Could TI offer x64 version mmwlstudio.lib?

Hi,

Currently, we need to build mmwavelink_example project under folder C:\ti\mmwave_dfp_00_09_01_06\ti\example\mmwavelink_example.

And at the same time, we need to call Matlab engine in this project.

Starting from Matlab 2016, it only offers x64 bit version. So I have to configure mmwavelink_example project as x64 in Visual Studio.

But some libs, such as mmwlstudio.lib, only have 32bit version. Hence, it failed to compile.

And no source project of mmwlstudio.lib could be found. I can't build a x64 version lib by myself.

It's better to offer 64bit version mmwlstudio.lib.

Thanks,

Feng

  • mmwlstudio.zipHi Feng,

    Thanks for your patience.

Currently the DFP doesn't have x64 based mmwlstudio.lib. I am attaching the library after building in x64 environment. Please check and let us know if this helps.

We will plan to put the same in our next formal release.

    Regards,

    Kaushal

  • Hi Kaushal,

This x64 lib should be working.

However, I supposed that this x64 mmwlstudio.lib is built under Visual Studio 2010, and I only purchased Visual Studio 2017(I have VS2010 evaluation version installed, but it can't support x64 build).

Then I configured my project as x64 version under VS2017. I met following problems.

I did some searching on Google. I didn't understand why. But it seems to be due to different VS version.

I am not sure you guys can help me with this. If possible, please. Otherwise, I will continue to find solution from internet.

    Regards,

    Feng

  • Hi Feng,

Let us know if you were able to work with the library provided. Do you need any help?

    Regards,
    Kaushal
  • Hi Kaushal,

    Not yet!

I had VS2017 installed. If I configure the project as x64 and then build it, it will report an error as following.

I supposed that  the origin project is built under VS2010. And if I build it under VS2017, it will report this kind of error.

I found no solution to solve this so far.

    Regards,

    Feng
