DDC118: Performance characteristics curve interpretation

I need help with interpreting the typical characteristics performance curves in page 6 and 7 of the datasheet. I know what the underlying terms and definitions are, but I need to understand why the curve is in that particular way.

I have figured out the behaviourof the graphs. However, what does side A and side B mean in the datasheet of DDC118?

Hi Daphne,

The DDC118 contains eight identical input channels that perform the function of current-to-voltage integration followed by a multiplexed A/D conversion. Each input has two integrators so that the current-to-voltage integration can be continuous in time. With the DDC118 in the continuous integration mode, the output of the integrators from one side of the inputs will be digitized while the other eight integrators are in the integration mode.
