AWR1443: elevation measurement using 1443

Part Number: AWR1443

Hi all,

We intend to use 1443 to achieve moving target's elevation and azimuth angle. However, there is a question in our waveform design issue:

If we use TPM waveform, which means three antenna transmit signal in a time division way, a Doppler phase can be included in the receiving signal. The Doppler phase can influence the elevation phase very much. The elevation angle estimation is therefore inaccurate.

Then, we consider the BPM waveform. However, when two Tx transmit signals with phase difference equal to "pi", the radiation energy is nearly zero in the far field. So is there any power can be received in the Rx??

Looking forward for your reply! Thanks very much.
