AWR1642: What's the performance of the internal LDO

Hi team,

A customer want to use LP87524 with LC filter instead of PMIC+LDOs.

In the RF1.0 power rail, he want to use LP87524 output 1.3V power, and enable the internal LDO in AWR1642. What's the influence of RF performance when using this power solution?

In appnote swra577, it only test the performance in PMIC's output voltage is 1V and bypass the LDO case.

Customer is curious about the internal LDO's performance. Do we have any details index of the internal LDO?

Hello Wesley,
Do you want to give 1.3V from the switcher directly to RF supply ans use only the internal LDO for filtering? In this case we recommend putting an LC filter on the 1.3V to filter some of the switcher noise and then feed it to the radar device.

Yes, customer will use a LC filter between the PMIC-1.3Vout and AWR1642-1.3Vin.
But the customer is curious about the internal LDO's performance. Could you please share some information about that? thanks.
