IWR1443BOOST: TI Could Agent Installation is requested repeatedly when launching mmWave Demo Visualizer

Part Number: IWR1443BOOST

Hello,

I am trying to run IWR1443BOOST with mmWave Demo Visualizer but it's not been successful.
When I launch mmWaveDemo Visualizer, TI Cloud Agent Installation is requested again even I installed it more than once...

Could you help to resolve this problem?

My demo environment is:
Chrome Version 64.0.3282.186 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Windows 10 Pro Version 1703 OS Build 15063.909
Panasonic Laptop (CF-SZ6)

TICloudAgentBridge is shown on top right of Chrome. In Manage extensions TICloudAgent Bridge 3.0.5 is Enabled, "Allow in incognito" is unchecked and all other extensions are not enabled.

My PC recognizes IWR1443BOOST normally. In Device manager following ports are confirmed operating normally:
XDS110 Class Application/User UART (CM11)
XDS110 Class Auxiliary Data port (COM10)

Best Regards,

  • I tried with another Windows10 laptop. TI Cloud Agent is installed with no problem and the visualizer runs successfully.
It might be because my PC has two user account. One is me: a user and another is an Administrator. On the other hand only one user account is set to the another Win10 laptop. To install any application to my PC, Administrator's ID and PW is required. Of course I know and used it when I installed TI Cloud Agent to my PC.
Can such two user account (one user, one administrator) case cause this problem? If so, is there any way to avoid it?

    Best Regards,
  • Hi Katsuhiro,

You can try to re-install the Browser and try it again.

If the on-line visualizer still have some trouble to connect the EVM, you can download the offline version. The download link is

  • Hi Wesley,

    Thanks a lot.
The download version works well. My problem is resolved.

    I find another solution:
Launch Chrome with "Run as administrator".
    > Right clicking on Google Chrome in Windows start menu>etc>"Runs as administrator".
This may help to use other browser base applications.
