The reason I am contacting you is that we are looking for a distance measurement technique for our application. The distance that needs to be measured is between 5-50 mm. The accuracy should be maximum +-1 mm. I saw that TI is offering a IWR1443 chip that is using radio waves for measuring the distance of objects. The chip is in preview status, but when does the release to market happen. Is the IWR1443 a good fit?
Also are there any antenna solutions that you'd recommend to achieve this level of accuracy or reference designs that I can view?
