TDC1000-TDC7200EVM: Doubt about BSTEVM

Part Number: TDC1000-TDC7200EVM

Hi,
i have recently bought the TDC1000-TDC7200EVM board and i have some doubts.
I need to measure distance between two ultrasound transducers (one is the transmitter and the other one is the receiver) in air and i need to use 400 kHz as resonant frequency.
I know that already exists the TDC1000-GASEVM board but the problem is that it has a band-pass filter whose upper limit is 300 kHz.
Because i use ultrasounds in air i need to supply them with a voltage bigger that 5V so i've tried to connect the BSTEVM of the TDC1000-GASEVM to the TDC1000-TDC7200EVM.
I've tried to generate a pulse train at 400 kHz and i have enabled the boost board and the TX1 for the maximum time (65535 us) but the pulses are always 2 and they don't change in number.
The question is: can i use the BSTEVM with TDC1000-TDC7200?
I know that the difference between GASEVM and TDC1000-TDC7200 are the two resistors on TX1/RX2 and TX2/RX1 channels and in datasheets it is explicitly said that on GASEVM the resistors have been eliminated in order to use the BSTEVM board.
Can i connect directly the BSTEVM to TDC100-TDC7200 or i need to remove the resistors?
Alternatively, can i change the upper limit in the GASEVM in order to use higher frequency?
Thank you.

Regards,
Luigi
