Hi,

Since AWR1642 has two processing cores (DSP-C674x and ARM - R4F) you would have to create a project for each core. You will need to specify the name for the cores when you create the CCS project.

Hi,

The extension.xe674 is defined by the user, by default CCS will create a .out executable.

I recommend that you create a project for the C674 first in order to get familiar with the CCS tool and the build environment. After you are able to build and run an example on the C674x core, then you can build and run an example on the R4F core.
