We wish to set up an experiment where we monitor the RX channels for a period of time but do not transmit chirps. Is this possible to set up in Radar studio? Would I just disable all transmitters?

Hi,
There are actually a few different ways to do things like this.
You can program a chirp that disables the transmitters, but this will only disable the TX PA. The Chirp LO is still passed to the TX mixer input. Effectively this would emulate a zero target return environment.
Another option is programming a chirp with a zero slope. This will result in a chirp at constant frequency. Essentially this is pulsed, continuous wave output. Again, you can enable or disable the TX PA.
Please let me know if that answers your questions on this topic.
Thank you,
Randy
