Hi,

we are working on AWR1642 mmw demo.we have integrated CAN interface from (ti/drivers) to mmw demo and are able to see radar data on CAN interface(frame format,x,y,z ,Doppler values are clear for us).

Now we have the following need.

-What is the possibility of reorganizing this code into autosar compliant? Could you guide us in this direction.

-Our end requirement remains same i.e Radar data on CAN interface.But it looks modules are not in autosar standard(ex: can.c,dcan.c)

-But somewhere in document ,I do remember TI MCAL is available for this product.So which additional tools,softwares need to be purchased.Which modules can be adopted to autosar(obviously keeping available memory footprint of awr1642 in consideration)

I was referring other similar post "e2e.ti.com/.../2244039 don't have Elektrobit Tresos ECU Configurator at the moment.
- This tool needs to be purchased separately for our requirement or can it be done using vector davinci configurator pro or can the post build configuration be generated manually without any tools?
- please guide us with purchase information and other information without affecting existing functionality.

HI Cesar,

we do have experience in configuration of autosar modules and usage of autosar tools for other controllers.

we are in need of ti MCAL for awr1642 , probably ECU configuratior pro license which will not be available elsewhere.

autosar.org is a generalized one and they don't provide MCAL code for specific controllers.

Hello Tulasi Krishna,

TI provides the MCAL drivers for AWR1642 under certain licensing terms. You will need to work with AUTOSAR vendors/AutoSAR Integrators for the RTE .

Do you have any TI representative you can contact and get access for the MCAL drivers?
