IWR1443: IWR 1443 EVM

Part Number: IWR1443
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

I have been trying to reflash the EVM using "uniflash 4.2.2.1692" and "mmwaveSDK v1.01..00.02-Linux"

I have followed the instructions as given in the userguide and my board does not get reflashed for some reason.

I have attached a pic of where I am struck at in the process and from there on, I receive no sort of response from the sensor board.

Thanks in advanced

  • Hi Siddarth,

Can you confirm you have added a jumper to SOP2? Can you confirm you've set the correct COM port in the Settings & Utilities pane?

    Cheers,
    Akash
  • Hi Akash,

Yes, my SOP2 has a jumper on it and the COM port is also rightly mentioned. I am positive about it because, when the port is changed to 1 or when jumper is removed, it directly pulls out an error in loading images. Whereas, this issue of not responding anything happens when I am on the right track.

    Cheers,
    Siddharth
  • Hi Siddarth,

You are populating both SOP2 and SOP0 before power correct? Are you receiving the error message in the console after break signal is set?
[3/27/2018, 10:09:54 AM] [ERROR] Cortex_R4_0: Initial response from the device was not received. Please power cycle device before re-flashing.
[3/27/2018, 10:09:54 AM] [ERROR] Cortex_R4_0: Not able to connect to serial port. Recheck COM port selected and/or permissions.

Would you be able to post a picture of your board? We need more information in order to answer your question.

    Cheers,
    Akash
  • HI Akash,

I am not getting any sort of error message after the break signal is set. What I get is "Opening com port /dev/ttyACM0..."

Post this, I don't get any response. I have attached picture of that in the initial query I had set up. I am attaching the picture of the board as you requested. Please find it.

    Cheers,

    Siddharth

  • Hey Siddharth,

in your picture I can see a jumper on SOP2, but not on SOP0. I think to flash your device, you need to place BOTH jumpers.
