TDC1000: How to connect the TDC1000 with transfomer

Hi Team,

I would like to know how to connect the TDC1000 with transformer. In order to boost 5V, should we use TDC1000+SN6501+transformer?

    Hi Nancy,

    Just to clarify, you would like to boost the a 5V output from the TDC1000 to some undefined higher voltage? If your goal is to end up with a 5V output, the TDC1000 will easily provide it as long as the input voltage for the device is 5.3V or higher.

    For boosting the voltage, I would recommend using a circuit such as the one in the TDC1000-GASEVM. The BSTEVM board included with this EVM has its own boost circuitry to raise the TX voltage to 30V, but this could be changed to suit your needs with simply component changes.
