AWR1243: "line start" and "line end" in CSI-2 configuration .

Part Number: AWR1243

Hello,

When AWR1243 is set to serial interface CSI-2.

Is it possible to turn "off" Synchronization Short Packet with line "Line Start Code" and "Line End Code" and only use  "Frame Start" and "Frame End" ?

Regards,

Rok

  • Hi,

Do you have some sample code that shows what you are trying to achieve?

    Thank you
    Cesar
  • Hello,

1.) CSI2 MIPI protocol uses small packets for frame / line synchronization. With image sensors we don't use "line start code" or "line end code" (in small packets), we just send "start frame code"  we send the data and then "end frame code".

The "line start / end" is only optional in CSI-2 protocol standard, so we don't use it. It would fit our system better if we are able to "turn off" the "line start /end" option.

I have another issues I have stumbled upon if it is OK to post it here:

2.) I am trying to use TESTPATTERN with CSI2 port. I am not receiving "end of frame code" (in the last small packet). Do you have a simple sample code how to get the test pattern working with the CSI2 port ? It might be I am missing something.

    Thank you for your answer,

    Rok V.

  • Hello,
I still haven't received any answers to my questions ?
  • mmw_example.cHI,
